Under 65's
If you are under 65 and have mild mobility issues* or have a disability, even if not permanent, but you do not receive community transport or social activity support through the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), then you are eligible to receive these services from South East Volunteers.
You can register for our Transport or Social Support services directly – no need for a referral.
- Transport – to allied medical appointments and clubs and more
- Social Activities – regular activities, including lunches, cinema, craft, walking, Ageless Grace gentle exercises, with transport to your door included
These 2 services are low cost, with fees dependent on pension status, activity, and distance travelled.
They are part of the Home and Community Care program for Younger People. (HACC PYP)
Monash community safety register
If you are over 50 and a resident of the City of Monash you are also eligible to join our Monash Community Safety Register.
We can register you directly. It is a free service and is funded by the City of Monash.
- Monash Community Safety Register – involves regular phone calls to check on your wellbeing, along with providing current health advice.

*We can transport clients who use a stick or walker, but only lightweight foldable wheelchairs, and if the client is able to transfer from a car to the wheelchair without being lifted. We do not have wheelchair hoists.
