We are an organisation of dedicated volunteers and staff supporting communities’ wellbeing and being a trusted partner that understands and is part of the community.
South East Volunteers, originally the Waverley Volunteer Outreach founded in 1985, coordinated volunteer recruitment and training in the City of Waverley, Melbourne. It expanded to cover the entire City of Monash, offering services like social support, transport, a community safety register, and police checks for organisations. It was known as the Monash Volunteer Resource Centre before adopting the name South East Volunteers in 2016 as it began serving broader areas, including the Cities of Dandenong and Casey.
